Description
This 2-day journey is the perfect combination of adventure and tranquility. Day one takes you deep into the fjords and coastal channels of the Great Bear Rainforest, where you’ll experience close encounters with marine wildlife and explore unspoiled landscapes. On day two, the expedition continues with more sightseeing, nature walks, and the rare chance to witness salmon leaping, whales feeding, or spirit bears roaming the shores.
Your base for the night will be a charming coastal lodge or floating cabin, offering comfort and warmth in the heart of the wilderness. This is more than just a trip — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime immersion into one of the world’s last great temperate rainforests.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventure
08:00 – Departure from Port Hardy aboard your private Axopar 37 Brabus Line. Cruise through fjords and inlets framed by towering rainforest and snow-capped peaks.
Afternoon – Wildlife expedition — look for orcas, humpback whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions, bald eagles, and bears along the shoreline.
16:00 – Return to Port Hardy
Check in to the oceanfront accommodation for an evening of relaxation.
Accommodation – Overnight Stay
Private coastal suite with ocean views and direct beach access. (Overnight accommodation is provided as part of this package. For full details, please see the Accommodation section below.)
Day 2 – Expedition & Return
08:00 – Set out after breakfast for more exploration. Venture into tidal estuaries where salmon leap during seasonal runs, and where black bears and the rare spirit bear may appear.
Afternoon – Continue sightseeing along the remote coastline before returning to Port Hardy.
16:00 – Return to Port Hardy
Arrive back at the marina, completing two days of sightseeing, exploration, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Cancellation Policy
• A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event will not be charged beyond the deposit.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable in full — the client will be responsible for 100% of the total event cost.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur administrative or service fees.
