This carefully curated 3-day itinerary combines the thrill of fishing, the wonder of rainforest sightseeing, and the awe of true expedition. By day, you’ll venture out on the Axopar 37 to reach remote waters, wildlife habitats, and hidden inlets. By night, you’ll return to the elegance of the Princess F49, moored in some of the most scenic marinas of the Great Bear Rainforest.
 
It’s a journey that blends adventure and luxury, with each day revealing a new side of the rainforest: the rich fishing grounds, the breathtaking landscapes, and the extraordinary wildlife encounters.
 
Itinerary
Day 1 – Fishing Adventure 
Morning departure on the Axopar 37 from Port Hardy.
Drop prawn and crab traps en route, then head to prime fishing grounds.
Target salmon, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish in some of the world’s richest waters.
Afternoon harvest of traps for Dungeness crab and spot prawns.
Return to Princess F49, docked at a picturesque marina for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Sightseeing & Wildlife 
Cruise fjords, estuaries, and remote channels by Axopar 37.
Spot pods of orcas breaching, humpbacks bubble-net feeding, and dolphins surfing the wake.
Scenic stops for photos and short nature walks ashore.
Sunset back aboard the Princess F49, enjoy fresh seafood dinner and stargazing from the deck.
Day 3 – Expedition & Exploration 
Expedition into tidal estuaries and untouched rainforest areas.
Depending on the season, witness salmon leaping, bears foraging, or the rare spirit bear.
Picnic lunch in a hidden cove before cruising back.
