Description

The Great Bear Rainforest is one of the last untouched wilderness regions on Earth—home to towering old-growth forests, glacier-fed fjords, and an astonishing abundance of life.

Beneath the surface, these nutrient-rich waters sustain some of the planet’s greatest salmon runs, drawing predators like halibut, lingcod, and rockfish. Crab and spot prawns thrive in tidal estuaries, offering a true West Coast harvest.

Above the waves, this is one of the world’s best places to encounter marine wildlife. Pods of orcas patrol the coastline, humpback whales rise from the depths in breathtaking breaches, dolphins play in the boat’s wake, and during migration season, vast schools of salmon erupt from the water in dazzling displays of nature’s power.

This rare combination of abundant fishing and spectacular wildlife encounters makes the Great Bear Rainforest a destination unlike any other.
