Not everyone wants a hardcore, all-day fishing mission—and honestly, you don’t need one to enjoy the best parts of the ocean. Coastal Catch & Cruise is a 4-hour “try-it-without-the-grind” experience built for people who want to sample fishing and crabbing/prawning without committing to a full-day charter.

Departing from a central downtown Vancouver marina, you’ll cruise toward the West Vancouver Lighthouse area, combining scenic coastline views with a casual, guided catch session. The plan is intentionally light and approachable: you get the fun of flounder fishing, plus the excitement of pulling Dungeness crab and spot prawns (where permitted and conditions allow)—all while enjoying the city-to-coast scenery on the way.

This trip runs on a 3-Star boat, designed for real time on the water with practical comfort: an enclosed cabin/helm for shelter, comfortable seating, an enclosed restroom, basic galley function, and weather protection so the experience stays enjoyable even if wind or spray picks up.

Minimum Guests Requirement

This trip requires a minimum of 10 confirmed guests to operate (licensed capacity 12). If the minimum is not met, YaHull reserves the right to cancel the departure. In that case, we will contact you with options to reschedule or receive a refund/credit according to the posted policy.

Refundable if canceled more than 14 days before the scheduled departure.
